Our commercial leasing practice enables DBM to represent both landlords and tenants on a nationwide basis.  We are familiar with all aspects of lease negotiations, and our experience affords our clients a comprehensive knowledge of what is customary in the industry and what provisions are likely to be acceptable.

Many companies prefer to use a knowledgeable attorney as their registered agent.  As a law firm, we understand the law regarding service of process and proper registration and assist you to limit personal liability.  Candace Fitch will act as a registered agent.  We can also assist your company to become properly registered in any state in the United States.

In addition, our transactional practice helps clients with business acquisition services, entity formation and dissolution, and real property acquisitions and sales.  In that regard, we help prepare and file corporations, limited liability companies and limited partnerships in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.  We can also assist with stock and asset business purchases, as well as pooling agreements, spin-offs and corporate reorganizations.  As a result, we represent buyers and sellers in a broad range of real estate acquisition and sale transactions.
